    Hike from Murren to Obersteingsberg
I found a two hike from to Obersteinsberg with a stay at the mountain hotel, Berghotel Obersteingsberg. I had saved off this link with information http://www.myswitzerland.com/en-us/the-wild-upper-lauterbrunnen-valley.html Now, when I go to the page it is not there - it says 404. Is it possible to get a new link to the same page?

    Half fare
Good day, If you purchase a half fare card, can this be used for both first and second class?
    • Candy Root
      6/18/2017 10:14:58 PM
Yes because you are still paying for the class of service albeit a discounted rate Are you purchasing just the half fare card Do you want to explore the Swiss Travel Pass and see if that is best for you? If you want to send me your details to Candy@awtravel.com I can do a comparison for you and see what is the most cost efficient for your specific destinations.

    Switzerland trip
Years ago my sons and I visited Switzerland with some friends from Boy Scouts. I would like to take my wife there now that we have retired. I remember visiting St Moritz and taking the Glacier Express to Zermatt. After a few days there we went to Grindlewald. We visited Lucerne and Geneva as well, but the first 3 were the highlights to me. We might want to put together a trip like that for summer 2018. Would you be interested in working with us on this? docterry6973@gmail.com

Mr. Smith, I am sorry not to haver replied earlier as my link was down. So, if you have not yet started to make plans in detail, I would be very willing to help finalize your plans. I was just in the Lauterbrunnen Valley a month ago for another visit and you have picked a beautiful part of Switzerland to take you wife. St. Moritz, Zermatt, all the places you mention would be a highlight of any trip to this beautiful country. If you are still interested, please drop me an e-mail and I will work with you to plan this adventure for you and your wife. Sincerely, Andrew/ITS Tours -- Andrew.ITSTours@gmail.com

    Grand Train Tour
I checked on the website for the cost of a Grand Train Tour for two in September and want to pursue it further. Is there any literature you can send about it? Also, how much extra are train reservations for the Express trains?
    • Candy Root
      5/31/2017 6:51:10 AM
Yes I can send you a booklet on The Grand Train Tour For the panoramic trains there is an additional fee when traveling on Swiss Travel Pass it varies from train to train The Golden Pass is a different price than the Glacier Express. Email me your address and any other specific questions to Candy@awtravel.com.

    travel system
We are a group of 10 visiting Switzerland in mid October for 3-4 days. We are staying in Lauterbrunnen and are planning day trips to Jungfraujoch, the Schilthorn, Trummelbach falls, and Interlacken. My question is - What is the most interesting and most cost effective way to visit these sites. Thank you in advance for your help.

You will want to use the local trains and can purchase tickets from any of the stations. We were in recently in Switzerland and stayed in Grindelwald where you take the cog train up to Jungfrau (Top of Europe) and you will not experience a better time than in Jungfrau. You will need a full day in Grindelwald to see and experience the train trip to the top of the mountains, cable car rides, etc.

Hello Patrick, since all of the rail systems are private you might look in to a Jungfrau Travel pass that is valid for 4days, I haven't checked on the price lately but it is around $253.00 USD is for 4 consecutive days on the entire Jungfrau Railway and takes you to the Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn and included Interlaken Ost, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Kleine Scheidess or Lauterbrunnen. send me your email address to Suzanne@artatravel.com and I will be glad to help you.

    Passes
Is there a pass that has 3 days of unlimited travel and 50% discount on travel for other days? I believe it used to be called a flexi-pass, but can't seem to find it now.
    • Candy Root
      5/16/2017 1:16:20 PM
You are correct it is very hard to find and they do not have the half fare combi anymore. If you have a Swiss Travel Pass you can use a day of that pass as your flex pass. Right now there is a special where you purchase 4 days consecutive travel and you get 2 free days. Send me your dates to Candy@awtravel.com and I will send you some specific information. I can also send you a Swiss Travel map and some other very helpful information on traveling in Switzerland. Are you interested in biking or hiking I also have some information on that. Email me your mailing address Candy@awtravel.com

Thank you. This is my 20th trip to Switzerland and I thought I knew all the variations of passes, but it looks like there have been some changes. Have seen some of the specials, but will have to work out what works best for me. Probably just a half-fare card and then individual tickets, Thanks again.
