    trip to Switzerland
I was working with a very nice advisor planning a trip to CH in your NY office. All of a sudden when one phones one gets only a voice mail to go to the web site. How can one talk to a person. Is your office in NYC closed.

    Travel Pass Info
Evening Mr Roccia I have a question about the Swiss Travel Pass ( Me and my wife already got the pass for our upcoming trip). One question I had was, is the travel pass good for travel in Arosa. I saw that there is a Arosa card for guests who book a night(s) with a hotel in town. Not sure if the passes will work on the in town transportation (bus/light rail). Thank You for your help. The Myswitzerland tourist site is amazing)

I may suggest staying in Zurich and then possibly Lucerne. Zurich because it's my favorite town in Europe, and Lucerne is quite central and easy to get to everything within about an hours train.

    Swiss Travel Pass
Good afternoon, I am interested in purchasing the Swiss Travel Pass for my travels through Switzerland. I was wondering if the travel pass includes a train to Italy. I noticed there is a direct train from Zug to Milan on the SBB system and was wondering if this would be included in the Swiss Travel Pass fair or if it would have to be paid separately. Any additional information would be great. Thank you!

    Daily travel
We plan to have a Swiss travel pass and stay in Interlaken as our base camp. Each morning we will pick our daliy trip depending on the weather. We plan on going to Zermatt one day and Lucerne another. We arrive in Zurich and depart from Zurich. Do I need reservations for these trips and if so can I buy them when I arrive at the train station or how do I go about buying the reservations and when should I do so??

Good morning. If you have a Swiss travel pass, you will not need to make reservations in advance for the Zurich/Lucerne/Zurich and the other local excursion trips you wish to make. You may want to make a specific seat reservation for Zermatt but that all depends on the time of year you wish to travel. You did not indicated exactly when you will travel. Personally, I think you should wait until you get to Switzerland to see what day will work the best because, as you mention, you will travel to your specific points of interest with emphasis on the weather. If you need assistance with your travel passes or any hotel reservations, please e-mail me directly and I will assist you in your purchases. Thank you and enjoy your trip. The only reservations you need or additional fees charged will be for the Swiss Panoramic Trains and the private alpine trains Some of the high speed trains between the cities recommend reservations If you need any specific schedule or pricing info email me at Candy@awtravel.com I also have a Swiss Travel Packet I can send you that includes an excellent Swiss Travel Map email me your mailing address and dates.

Train ticket from Zurich airport to Zermatt
I'm leaving For Zurich from Toronto on Feb.2nd. Will arrive in Zurich onFeb.3rd at 6:25am. I purchased train tickets for myself and my 2 children to Zermatt from the Zurich airport in 1st class through the SBB CFF FFS website. After printing the tickets I noticed that it says that the tickets are valid from 02.02.2018 00:00 - 03.02.2018 05:00 . I need to have the tickets changed to Feb.3rd and not Feb. 2nd. Can you please advise as to how to go about changing the tickets to be the correct date? Please help! Robin Horner

Hi: I just want to know if you have snow all the time or just some months?. I want to stay at one of your hotels in Grindelwal but we want to practice some winter sports. If you have snow only during some months can you please tell me which ones? Thanks a lot!!!

Good morning, Actually, there is snow year round up in the Jungfrau region and one can do some skiing even during the summer months. Of course it is more limited but it is possible. What month were you planning on staying in Grindelwald? It is of course better in the fall/winter/spring. Let me know and I will be able to assist you in making your arrangements.
