This resort opened in June on the site of the former Marineland (original home of Shamu the killer whale). It's right on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. What a view! We ate at Nelson's last night. It's a bar and grill onsite that's names after Mike Nelson, the character Lloyd Bridges played in the TV series "Sea Hunt." The series was filmed at this site. So was "Pirates of the Caribbean." Several other places to eat and imbibe. Also three pools, a spa and walking trails.
