We went to Las Vegas, for yet another Travel Trade Show. This time it was amazing! There were so many seminars that we went to, and actually met some great people! We stayed at the South Pointe Hotel and Casino. About 6 miles south of the strip, but worth the drive. There are 2163 rooms, ranging in size from 900 to 2,500 square feet. There are quite a few restaurants to chose from. We found the Garden Restaurant Buffet to be the best with 6 live cooking stations from different regions across the world. Enjoy Mexican, Asian, Italian, Barbeque, Seafood, or Chinese for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A highlight of our stay, for us, was the tour of the equestrian stables and arena. What a magnificent facility. There are 1200, 12 x 12 stalls. Wash bays with hot and cold water, bedding, and air conditioning are all available to make your animals stay a comfortable one. I would highly recommend the South Pointe Casino to any one.
