North America travel allows you to explore the earth's third largest and highly urbanized continent comprises the U.S., Canada and Mexico, as well as Greenland, Central America, the Caribbean and dozens of smaller territories and islands. North America is also almost
completely surrounded by bodies of water.
Its landscapes present tremendous diversity and beauty, as its physical environments reflect various climates, vegetation and landforms. The topography
literally changes from one state or province to the next, from mountains and deserts to glaciers and tropics. There are large cities, quaint towns, tropical
seaside resorts, arctic hamlets and everything in between, with any indoor or outdoor adventure, sport or activity available, from diving off Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula to polar bear safaris in Canada to the continent’s
tallest point (Alaska’s Mount McKinley) and lowest point (California’s Death Valley) in the U.S.
North America is the only continent where there’s direct contact between polar and tropical air masses, causing such frequent natural disasters as
tornadoes, droughts, floods and blizzards, seldom found on other continents. The population is also racially and ethnically diverse. The U.S. and Canada,
with similar and cultural traditions are primarily of European descent, with substantial immigration from Asia, Latin America and Africa. Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean hold on to their indigenous traditions and lifestyles. The massive economy, abundant resources and
military strength of the U.S. give the continent considerable global influence.
